Mount Vernon Signal":  Renfro Bookkeeper Found Dead In Auto.
.                                A familiar face is missing in Renfro Valley this week.  Ernest V. Nestor, bookkeeper for the Renfro Valley Enterprises,
.                             was found dead in his automobile Saturday.  The body was found as the result of a search started when Mr. Nestor failed
.                             to show up for his job at the Valley.
.                                According to Mr. Nestor's employer, John Lair, the 65- year old bookkeeper had left his home in Berea at the usual
.                             time Saturday morning.  The car was parked in a neighboring garage, and Mrs. Nestor believed that her husband had gone
.                             on to work, becoming alarmed only when he failed to return home at the usual time Saturday evening.  Mr. Nestor had
.                             only recently been released from Berea Hospital, where he was taken to recuperate from a heart attack, and had been back
.                             at work at the Valley only a few days.
.                                A check at the Valley showed that Mr. Nester hadn't made it this time, though.  Another heart attack evidently had
.                             struck as he started to back his car from the garage.  Neighbors later reported that they did see Mr. Nestor start to back
.                             out of the garage, but they believed that he had changed his mind about leaving when they saw the car driven back in.
.                                The car door still was partly open when Mrs. Nestor located her husband, and knowing how methodical and careful he
.                             was about everything, Mrs. Nestor knew immediately that something was wrong.  It is believed that Mr. Nestor had
.                             started to get out of the car, but had fallen back into his last lapse before ever leaving the car.
.                                A native of Carroll County, Va., Mr. Nestor had worked as a bookkeeper with coal companies in both Virginia and
.                             Kentucky before settling down in this section of the county.  Mr. Nestor settled down in Berea to retire, but according
.                             to Mr. Lair soon was drawn to Renfro Valley looking for something to do and Mr. Lair gave him a job.
.                                Mr. Nestor is survived by his wife, Mary Goad Nestor; two sons Ernest V. Nestor, Ashland, and Paul Nestor, former
.                             assistant manager of Berea College and now with the University of Kentucky in Lexington; one daughter who lives in
.                             Rockport, Ill; a sister, Mrs Nettie Reid, of Spanishburg, W.Va., and nine grandchildren.
.                                Funeral services were held at 2:30 P.M. Monday at the Britton Funeral Home, Berea, with the Rev. Leon Sanborne and
.                             and the Rev. O. B. Mylum officiating.  Burial was in the Berea Cemetery.
.                                Those from this comminity attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Lair, Mr. Bill Martin, Mrs. Cora Lee Speer and
.                             Miss Virginia Bray.
